Scrappy Projects

It's been a while since I've updated my blog so I thought I'd share some of my scrappy projects from the past month. This first layout is one of my new favorites. "F is for Football" is a picture of my son Tanner at Football practice this year...right before he broke is hand. The base is chipboard, torn and distressed. It's such a cool effect for a football layout.

This layout documents Gabe's crazy story about how his teddy bears got a hair cut. He just threw them up in the air and their hair fell out. Really.

The final picture is one of Gabe and Tanner with their trophies from trap shooting a few weekends ago. Tanner won the youth division and Gabe got a trophy for being the youngest shooter. Believe it or not, Gabe actually hit two of the clay pigeons! Scary. Very Scary. He's only 6 and it's a mothers worst nightmare.

What a great day for a BBQ!

The weather was beautiful and I was surrounded by family, what could be better than that? Jaron turned 23 on Thursday so we BBQ'd for him today. Mom and Dad came up and we spent the afternoon playing in the yard. Here are some pictures of the kiddos:

Gabe up in his favorite tree. He loves to climb and I'm just waiting for the first broken arm and trip to the Emergency room. lol

Tanner and his sweet hairdo. He's such a funny kid! I can't wait for the day when he looks back on this and says..."What was I thinking??"...you know, we all do it.

My big birthday boy and his Meg. They've been together since high school and today is the anniversary of when they started dating...awww!
Thanks for stopping by....
