6 year olds...

Cleaning Gabe's room last weekend was quite an adventure. Not only was it a complete disaster area but I also found some very interesting suprises. It was like a fact finding mission gone bad. My first suprise was this:

Turquoise fluff. Yep, turquoise and another pile of brown fluff close by. As I cleaned I found another clue...a pair of kitchen shears. Uh-oh, you know what scissors, a pile of fluff and a quiet 6-year-old equals?

You guessed it...a stuffed animal barber shop.

Poor Lion.

To this day Gabe swears that he didn't do it. He threw his animals up in the air and their hair fell out. Yeah, right. I suppose I can be thankful that it was the stuffed animals who got haircuts and not Gabe.

Happy New Year!

So far so good but it's only two days into it!

Citrus Tree Studio started out my scrappy new year with a bang. The guest designers are hosting a crop--and it's still going on until midnight tonight so there is plenty of time to squeeze in a few of the challenges. Believe it or not, I managed to get them all done! Sorry the pictures are so crummy on some of them because the weather hasn't been cooperating...

This one uses Christmas paper on a non-Christmas themed layout:
This layout uses shaped photos:

This one had to be grouped with white space all around:

This challenge required the layout or card to have at least one edge that was punched, shaped, etc. I used a die cut piece of paper for a template and did all four sides:
An ATC using a technique you haven't tried before. I inked, stamped, tore and distressed vellum. Geez, I haven't used vellum in a long time!

And finally, circles...lots of them. Actually the challenge called for at least three photo's and three circles.

It's been fun...thanks for all the challenges girls!
