Citrus Tree Studio Sneak Peeks

Here's a little sneak peek of what we got to work with for the May Citrus Tree Studio "County Fair" Kit. It's the new Jenni Bowlin paper lines and "Farmer's Wife" has been so much fun to play with!! The kit will be available for purchase on or about May 5th. Enjoy!

Sunshine...ahhh!

Even though there were high clouds today it was warm and sunny. Spring has definitely hit Central Oregon! Dave and I spent the majority of the day outside today working in the yard. He built a brick fire pit and I cleaned out the flower beds. The firepit looks awesome and Dave said I'm in for trouble since it's an open invitation to all of his beer drinking buddies to hang out half the night right under my bedroom window...I think he's right.

I did manage to get a few layouts done for various challenges. They are very simple and since they were for challenges and not DT projects, I had some fun with them.

I wish I could say I came up with the idea for the sun's rays on my own but I didn't...it's a lift from Kristii Lockart. Cute huh?

And this final one was my last DT project for Dreamer using the Courtship Collection from Marks Paper Co.

I just finished uploading the rest of the pictures from today and I got some great shots of the boys. It's so nice to have them all home even if it's just for a little while.

Gabe is becoming quite the little ham these days. Either he loves the camera or hates it!

Happy Easter

Would you belive that the Easter Bunny got up at 4:30 this morning to hide the eggs?? Yep, I think that big bunny had more fun hiding the eggs than Gabe had hunting them! It was so much fun to see Gabe peek out the window and say, "Yep, the Easter Bunny left me some eggs!"...Aww. Even though it was a little on the chilly side we had a nice BBQ and enjoyed spending time with our family. Here are a few pictures:

The track meets have begun...

I'm pretty excited that Tanner decided to go out for track this year. He hasn't participated in track since middle school and now he's pretty much too big for the sprints that he used to run. The throwing events have been quite a learning curve for him since this is his very first shot at it. Not bad results though...he's on Varsity for javelin and JV for the shot and discus. Here are a few pictures from his track meet last night:

The April "Orchard Fresh" kit at Citrus Tree Studio instantly screamed summertime to me! I scrambled to find the perfect pictures but ended up using a combination of pictures from last summer...pictures that were my favorites throughout the year. Here are my projects:

Scrapbook Dreamer Reveal

Yesterday marked the April Design Team reveal over at Scrapbook Dreamer. This month I worked with the "Old Fashioned Courtship" Collection from Marks Paper Company and loved every scrap of it! Here are the projects I completed with this paper line:
