Gabe's big catch

Can you believe it's been a whole year since I last went fishing? Dave and Gabe go pretty often but I'm usually too lazy to get my fishing license. I've always loved to fish and I had a blast yesterday fishing with Dave and Gabe in the creek behind Dan and Nancy's house. Although I spent most of my time untangling the bird's nests in my fishing line and didn't catch a thing, I did enjoy the sunshine and had fun taking pictures of Gabe with his "big" catch.

Gabe was the only one of us to catch a fish. He landed the little sucker all by himself but wasn't quite sure if he was going to actually touch it or not. Sheesh, give that kid a butter knife and a slab of meat in Dave's shop and he'll saw on it all day but do you think he'd grab a slimy little fish? Not without some coaxing!
