Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we took Gabe to the Central Oregon Pumpkin Co. This years theme was safari and the corn "maize" was pretty darn fun. This was my dad's first year going through the maize so he and my mom let Gabe and I drag them through to the end. It was tons of fun until the wind picked up and it got cold on us. Here are a few pictures of our adventures:

And the day isn't complete without a strawberry topped funnel cake and some carmel apples. MMMMM.

World Card Making Day Event at Citrus Tree

Today is the final day of the WCMD Event at Citrus Tree Studio. The Design Team has put together 10 really cool and very easy challenges for this event and as usual Cindy is rocking the give-a-aways for participating. Here are a few of my projects for this event so far...

I created this little ATC for Nicole's challenge about the time I enjoy spending with Gabe while Dave is on his trips. We have so much fun together!

Tanner's Buck

For someone who is just getting over a round of the swine flu...it sure didn't stop him from hunting. Tanner got another nice buck this year (4X5) despite a broken hand and the flu. He was pretty happy but it makes me wonder if he's going to get a let down when he shoots something smaller that a 4-point in the future. lol

Doesn't it just figure? We have a great new football coach, a team that just might win a game this year and what happens?? Tanner breaks his hand in practice...hmm. Hopefully, he'll only be out until the cast comes off.

Football season has officially begun..

Friday night was Tanner's first football game of the season. The White Buffalo's have a new coach and the kids seem pretty excited about him. Here's a picture of the starting line-up...Tanner is #64.

Unfortunately they lost this game but the season is just getting started.

Antelope Hunt in the Steens

For those of you that don't know Dave took Gabe on his first Antelope Hunt in the Steens Mountains last week. The hunted with my dad, brother, nephew and a few of Dave's friends. I think Gabe got his little legs walked off but they both had a great time. Here's a few pictures from their hunt:
